Introductions

This blog will be about my new puppy, Myla, who I am adopting from the Champaign County Humane Society.

I first saw her when she was only 10 days old on the Pupsispups blog, who post their foster dogs on their blog so that they can potentially be adopted without spending much time in the shelter. As soon as I saw her picture, I fell in love! I knew that I had to adopt her and contacted the shelter immediately. Within a week, I was at the shelter filling out an application for her. The next day, I got a call from the foster home asking when I wanted to visit. A week after that, I was able to visit the puppies! They were only 3 weeks old the first time I visited them, and they slept most of the time I was there. Ever since then, I've been back at the foster home every week visiting Myla and her brothers and sisters.

Her litter was named after the Charley's Angels. Her original name was Jill. Her brothers and sisters were Bosley, Charley, Kelly, and Sabrina. (I will post pictures of them all soon!) Myla's mother, Panda, is a very beautiful dog and she was a wonderful mom to her 5 little puppies. I am happy to report that as of right now, all but 2 puppies have been officially adopted!

I am very grateful to the foster home for taking such good care of my little girl, and to CCHS for all the great work that they do!

Be on the lookout for pictures of my visits!
